Recently, we expanded our rural wireless network with two new towers at Mt Bonar and Mt Greenland on the West Coast. These additions help extend coverage to more homes and businesses in surrounding areas, giving more people access to rural wireless broadband.

To mark the expanded coverage, we’re currently offering free installation for all rural wireless and fibre broadband connections until 31 May 2026.

If you’re within one of our service areas and looking to get connected, you can get started by prepaying your first month of service, with no installation fee.

How does it work?

• Prepay your first month of service to start your connection.
• Our team will schedule your installation, free for standard setups.
• For fibre, a free Vilo router is included for self-setup, and Chorus handles any ONT installations if needed. Please note, you will need to cover delivery fees for the router.

Who can take advantage?

Available to all rural wireless and fibre customers in our service areas.

• Rural Wireless: your property must have a clear line-of-sight to a tower.
• Fibre: your property must be within the Chorus fibre network coverage.
